How The Program Works...
Training is 5 days a week broken down into 3 resistance training days and 2 cardio days.
Resistance training will help build lean muscle, which increases your resting metabolism and you burn more calories all day long.
LISS Cardio (Low Intensity Steady State) helps improve your body's ability to use fat as fuel instead of using glycogen stored in your muscles.
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is another form of cardio and is incorporated in the second phase of the plan. HIIT torches a lot of calories in a short space of time and has the added bonus of the EPOC effect (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption) which burns more calories for hours after your workout as the body tries to recover.
Phase 1 - Ignite Your Confidence. Feel In Control
You'll work on overcoming Gymtimidation and kickstarting the fat loss process. You'll build your confidence and knowledge in the gym, so you no longer feel uncomfortable or unsure of what to do.
You'll walk into the gym with your head held high, knowing you have a plan and instructional videos for every exercise.
* Your cardio can be done in the gym or outdoors. Just pop in some earphones and head out for a brisk walk while listening to a podcast / music or catching up with a friend. If you are doing your cardio in the gym, you can even watch your favorite Netflix show.
Phase 2 - Build Momentum. See Results
During phase 2 you'll step it up a notch and build on your progress! Your confidence has skyrocketed. Your clothes are looser, the number on the scale is going down and your fitness has increased.
At this stage you’ve mastered the technique of each exercise and you're ready for the final phase.
