You’re not managing stress and you’re skimping on sleep — Lack of sleep or poor quality sleep can have a significant effect on your hunger regulating hormones, leptin and ghrelin. When these go out of whack, it actually signals your body to eat more. You’re more likely to crave high-carb snacks and to eat more calories throughout the day, which can result in weight gain. If your stress levels are continuously elevated, so too are your cortisol levels., High cortisol levels can result in fatigue, headaches, bloating, low libido making it more difficult to lose belly fat.


You don’t have a consistent workout schedule — What gets scheduled, gets done. Start with planning your week and schedule your workouts like meetings. Block your time out! It’s really that simple. Don’t let your excuses push your workouts further down your priority list until they are no longer a priority anymore. How The Program Works...

This 8 week program is designed to torch fat, sculpt muscle and banish the dad bod for good.

This efficient and effective workout plan combines 3 different types of training methods - Resistance, LISS Cardio and HIIT.

Resistance training will help build lean muscle, which increases your resting metabolism and you burn more calories all day long.

LISS Cardio (Low Intensity Steady State) helps improve your body's ability to use fat as fuel instead of using glycogen stored in your muscles.

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) torches a lot of calories in a short space of time and has the added bonus of the EPOC effect (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption) which burns calories for hours after your workout as the body tries to recover.
The Program Is Split Into Two Phases
Phase 1 - We hit it hard from the start to maximize metabolic efficiency. The more muscles moving, the more calories burned, so phase 1 includes two Total Body Circuits a week. On top of this, we have an Upper Body Day and a Lower Body Day, meaning all muscles get worked 3 times a week.

Phase 2 - Now that your body is a fat burning machine, we change our approach and your program evolves to a four day split consisting of a Chest Day, Leg Day, Back Day and a Shoulders & Arms Day. This means we can focus more on volume and allow adequate recovery for each muscle group. Phase 2 also introduces HIIT to your program to keep the intensity high and maximize calorie burn.

Each phase includes Cardio & Core Workouts to help carve a lean midsection and strengthen your lower back. The cardio is in the form of LISS, giving you the ideal opportunity to get outside and get some fresh air. It’s also a form of active recovery.

Total Body Workout - We maximize metabolic efficiency with a circuit style workout consisting of 7 exercises performed back to back for 45 seconds each, with a 15-second break in between. The more muscles move, the more calories burned.


Lower Body Workout - This combination of exercises hit every muscle in your lower body. We mix straight sets, supersets and giant sets, which incorporate both compound and isolation exercises to get you strong, powerful legs.

Ant & Ali are brilliant
Ant & Ali are brilliant. I took a 12 week program and I know I would not have gotten where I am without them. I was always into fitness but I never saw the results that I felt I should have. The 12 weeks i spent with them was more productive than my last 2 years doing my own workouts without a plan or goal. Technically they provide responsive and knowledgable support. Their workouts and videos are detailed and easily followed. They don’t overload you and yet still push you to make sure that progress is made each week even if it’s not always readily seen. They remind you that you need to trust the process and to not have unrealistic goals. Finally on a personal note they are just lovely people and truly want the best for you, whatever that may be. I started with Ant and Ali and the WellFit method 4 weeks ago. I had been doing no training for the previous 8 months so was out of shape and really unfit. The best coaches
I won’t do Ant and Ali justice in this review. I’ve known Anthony for over 15 years and like most people I get into good shape and then fall off slightly every now and again. The great thing is I have Anthony get in touch regularly to see how I’m getting on and to keep me focused. I had a back injury for the last year or so and wasn’t able to work out. Got in touch with Ant and Ali and started the Dumbbell Domination 8 week programme. I’m 5 weeks into it and I’m down 6.5kg, feeling great and back is holding up nicely. I’m looking forward to finishing this programme in 3 weeks and starting their next lean machine programme. If you need to get into better shape and enjoy your workout then I can’t recommend Ant and Ali highly enough. Great coaches but even better human beings.

Five star. This challenge came at the right time for me. I am not a gym bunny and was very unsure if this was for me. I opted for the home challenge beginners routine.
